Work on your thoughts

During all day we keep thinking about things, events, families, issues, future, money, office and several other stuff. Our thoughts drive us to take some actions and hence we are moving towards our destiny by each and every action. That means our thought is the strongest part of our destiny as it is the root cause of every action. In my opinion, our Thoughts Process primarily consists of following five contributing factors. I will include some of the details of each factor and summarize the Thought Purification tips under each category below: 1.     Education:  Education broadens the horizon of our minds. More education means that the mind is exposed to more knowledge and possibilities. Education when combined with experience result in more mental growth as compared to a less educated person. Hence the quality of thoughts are directly linked with the education. So to keep our 'thoughts seeds' healthy we must seek for Good knowledge, the knowledge which fresh...

10 CEOs and Their Favourite Books

A good book is indeed the best friend of a person. The same goes for high-profiled CEOs of world recognized companies as well. Though most believe that if one wants to read a good book, then one needs to write it oneself. Still, a dizzying number of books have already been fantastically written by many talented authors. Gus Lubin, Kim Bhasin and Melanie Hicken of the Business Insider have deftly dug up the favourite books of some of the renowned CEOs of the globe. A few on the list are as follows - 1) Apple CEO - Tim Cook Tim Cook is the present CEO of Apple. His favourite book is ‘Competing Against Time’ by George Stalk Jr. and Thomas M. Hout. This book is based on 10 years of precious research done by the authors. It talks about how newer concepts of managing time in new product development, production and sales and distribution provide companies with the edge to succeed in this highly competitive world. Cook loves this book so much that he often gives out copies o...

I have learned that......

I've learned That you cannot make someone love you, all you can do is be someone who can be loved. The rest is up to them that no matter how much I care, some people just don't care back.  I've learned That it takes years to build up trust, and only seconds to destroy it. That it's not what you have in your life but who you have in your life that counts.  I've learned  That you can get by on charm for about fifteen minutes. After that, you better know something. That you shouldn't compare yourself to the best others can do. That you can do something in an instant that will give you heartache for life.  I've learned  That it's taking me a long time to become the person that I want to be. That you should always leave loved ones with loving words. It may be the last time you see them.  I've learned  That you can keep going long after you can't. That we are responsible for what we do, no matter how we feel.  I've...

To Son,..........................From, Father

A Father's Instructions for Life  Condensed from 'Life's Little Instruction Book" Years ago, I read that it was the  responsibility of parents not to pave the road for their children, but to provide a road map.  So, as my son, Adam, prepared to leave for college, I jotted down a few words of counsel and put them in a dime-store binder. After his mother and I had helped him move into his dorm, I presented him with the bound pages. A few days later, Adam called me. "Dad," he said,  the book is one of the best gifts  I've ever received. I'm going to add to it and someday give it to my son." Every once in a while life hands you a moment so precious, so overwhelming, that you almost glow. I had just experienced one. Here are the words I gave him. Admit your mistakes. Be bold and courageous. Be brave. Even if you're not, pretend to be.No one can tell the difference. Be willing to lose a battle in order to win ...
